New Online Classes April 5, 12, 19, 2011

We are pleased to announce a new Leadership Mandala module.

Please join us for an exploration of a very important topic for healthy individual and group functioning: skillful working with conflict, confrontation, control, and chaos.

Too often these 4 C's are the deal breakers in our sense of personal wholeness and connection with others. Not only do our usual ways of working with them not work very well, but they rob us of the opportunity to create higher fields of connection, fulfillment, intelligence, and integration. This is why we have chosen this topic for our next module.

The Leadership Mandala approach, based on the principles of Hakomi, Matrixworks, and Buddhadharma, truly values diversity, disagreement, and divergence as critical points in the evolution of individual and group or community potential. This module will explore our personal habits around the 4 C's and show us how to navigate and shape these arisings so that inner and outer connection and relationship are strengthened rather than destroyed. It will even teach us how to practice positive disruption when needed!

If this territory frightens you, please join us. Your true freedom and liberation will be served by transforming your relationship with the 4C's.

Participants will learn:
- how to stay centered during strong communication exchanges
- how to uncouple conflict from trauma
- how to use mindfulness as a tool for working with the 4 C's
- how to balance inquiry with advocacy
- how to set clear boundaries
- how to use the Social Engagement System to support healthy relating
- how to use conflict to deepen relationship
- how to notice, name and claim shadow material

4 C's COACHING MODULE, dates TBA. This module offers a personal opportunity to practice the skills learned in the Learning Module using a specific example/case study in your life.

New Online Classes April - May

We recently completed a pilot series of three online classes with twelve participants. We learned quite a bit about teaching on line and with the help of feedback, we have some new ideas to improve the experience.

Overall, the series was enthusiastically welcomed and appreciated and so we've decided to continue developing the Leadership Mandala vision of offering Hakomi and Matrixworks to the larger Sangha in order to benefit individually and collectively.

We're learning as we go, integrating feedback and doing our best to support our own and everyone’s evolution and enhanced creativity.

New format, new classes, current schedule.

It's Time To Creatively Wake Up

. . . and take responsibility for our higher purpose. We are living in a changed world which is highly interconnected and open for revision. In the documentary, The 11th Hour, Paul Hawken stated:

"What a great time to be born, what a great time to be alive, because this generation gets to essentially completely change this world."

It is with this inspiration that Leadership Mandala has come into being with a vision of creating a practice field in which the larger Sangha can explore the areas of individual personhood and community in ways which integrate the inspiration and principles of the Buddhist path with wellbeing and effectiveness in the world.

We are passionate about the new innovative fusion of Buddhist values and modern science which informs the ciritcal role played by self-leadership and group-leadership in manifesting the highest expression of personal, community, and global wellbeing and transformation.

As a support for spiritual growth, we are committed to guiding the Sangha to new levels of nourishment and wellbeing within themselves and with others. Please join us in calling forth a compassionate, wisdom-based world.
